Photo shoot

Here in South Caroina it is HOT! I mean sweltering. Don't get me wrong, I would trade this weather any day for the dismal weather of Flint, MI, but we are looking forward to the end of this August heatwave. The biggest reason that this heat has gotten me down is because my family was visiting this week, and I wanted to do a big photo shoot with meemaw, pappaw, Uncle Nate and our boys. Natural light would have been best since I don't have any studio lighting, but we would have just melted in the heat. After only a couple of pictures, everyone would have been red-faced and miserable. The camera flash was just too harsh. So, we took some photos inside last night and did our best with the very sad lighting in our new home. Here are some of the results:

They are definitely in need of some photoshop TLC. At least we were able to capture something. I'll try again on their next visit.
