I like to smell things

I don't know about you, but the sense of smell seems to be my most neglected. Seeing, touching, tasting, hearing...all done with great frequency. However, I rarely take time to just really breath in the smells of life. Of course, maybe that has to do with the fact that often the smells of our lives are something to be avoided, like our battle with the trash can and South Carolina summer heat-Yuck!
"Smelling" is one of my youngest sons favorite things to do.
When something new comes into our lives, his first question is usually, "Can I smell it?" It baffles me where this obsession came, but it really is quite endearing. He believes that things should look beautiful and smell even better. So, take a note from Joel and breathe deep. Take advantage of all of your senses today. Creative ladies out there, any thoughts on scrapbooking a smell?

Hi, Joy :) I didn't know how else to email you back with the answers to your questions you left on MY blog. Love your photo for today!

Here is what you wrote on my blog:
I was just looking at your creative space. I love using vintage items for organizing my supplies. Where did you get all those great sugar shakers? That is a great idea. Also, I noticed that you design for "Right at Home Scrapbooking" store. Where is that? When I lived in MA, I used to visit a store by that name in a town called North Attleboro. Is it the same place?

Thank you! :) I got the sugar shakers at Target but I've seen them a lot cheaper at places like Big Lots or Dollar General. And yes, the store in MA is the store I'm on the DT for! I taught classes there as a guest teacher back in February and they asked me to do some things for them once in a while. I LOVE that store. :)
